Chacon Steel began in structural steel: detailing, connection design and 3D modeling for platforms, canopies and community buildings. That work taught us how drawings become structures in the field. Now we carry complex commercial and industrial buildings, such as warehouses and flex spaces, the whole way: from engineering and permitting through construction and closeout.
How we work
Design‑build, led by engineering
Most owners hire a designer and a builder separately, then spend the project in the gap between them. We close that gap. Our engineers produce the structural design and construction documents, carry them through plan review, and stay on as the general contractor.
We don't keep our own trade crews or fabrication shop. On site, we manage close partner subcontractors for sitework, survey, concrete, steel fabrication and erection, the building envelope, MEP and finishes. They build to drawings we produced, on a schedule we set, with the engineers who drew the building a phone call away.
